Procurement Transformation Consultant/Training FacilitatorLocation: London, Manchester, or Bristol (Hybrid Working)Salary: London - £56,000 - £68,000 | Regional £53,000 - £65,000One of the Big Four consultancies, is seeking a passionate and experienced Procurement Transformation Consultant to join their prestigious Infrastructure, Government, and Healthcare - Procurement Operational Transformation practice (IGH-POT). This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on public procurement processes across the UK.About the Role:As a Procurement Transformation Consultant, you will be instrumental in building procurement knowledge and skills across UK central government and the wider public sector. This is achieved through a large-scale training and development program aligned with the latest legislation ('The Procurement Bill') and its accompanying regulations, part of the Transforming Public Procurement (TPP) initiative. You will also have opportunities to lead other procurement transformation and learning programs, managing projects, and guiding diverse teams.Key Responsibilities of a Procurement Transformation Consultant:Training Facilitation: Skillfully conduct online training sessions that motivate and enhance attendees' technical understanding, ensuring learning outcomes are met.Advanced Course Delivery: Lead 'Advanced Course of Deep Dives' for procurement practitioners, focusing on practical application of the new public procurement regime.Knowledge Transfer: Equip learners with the knowledge and skills to operate effectively under the new regulatory regime, optimizing procurement outcomes for the government and public sector.Content Development: Contribute subject-matter expertise in creating learning content for various procurement-related training topics.Business Development: Leverage expertise and networks to generate new business opportunities and support the development of procurement learning and transformation-related propositions.What You Need to Succeed as a Procurement Transformation Consultant:Pedagogical Experience: Proven experience in educating, coaching, and creating a positive learner-focused online environment.Procurement Expertise: Detailed knowledge of procurement processes, including category management, strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier relationship management, P2P, and supplier risk management.Public Sector Experience: Experience in managing procurement capability within the public sector and understanding public procurement policies and regulations, including the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.Transformation Skills: Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing procurement operating model changes, enabling learners to grasp the new legislation's implications.Desirable Skills:Defence and Security Knowledge: Familiarity with the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 and the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016.Cost Reduction Programs: Experience in complex cost reduction programs across direct and indirect spend, utilizing advanced procurement analytics.Category Knowledge: Understanding of areas of direct and indirect spend.Change Management: Experience managing change in complex public sector environments.Professional Affiliations: Membership in commercial professional bodies like the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).Technology Trends: Knowledge of current procurement technology market trends and providers such as Jaggaer, Oracle, Atamis, SAP/Ariba, and Coupa.Locations:Our client has a network of 20 offices across the UK, with core hubs for this role in:London Canary WharfManchesterBristolFlexible working options, including remote work and flexible hours, are available.If this sounds like the role for you, or you're simply curious to find out more, please don't hesitate to apply or get in touch with #####.
