Prodcution Planner

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of production processes by coordinating schedules, managing resources, and optimising workflows. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain management and business processes, along with the ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties

• Develop and maintain production schedules that align with demand forecasts and inventory levels.


• Collaborate with various departments including production, procurement, and quality control to ensure seamless operations.


• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demands or address delays.


• Utilise SAP and other systems to track production metrics and generate reports for management review.


• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in scheduling processes and overall production efficiency.


• Ensure that all scheduled activities comply with quality control standards and safety regulations.


• Maintain clear communication with team members regarding schedule changes, resource availability, and production priorities.

Skills

• Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.


• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and business processes.


• Mechanical knowledge to understand production equipment and processes.


• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.


• Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed scheduling decisions.


• Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments.
