You will assume responsibility for providing impactful and insightful marketing intelligence and competitor analysis to support client retention and asset raising. Working for a highly regarding UK active Investment Manager, this role sits in an experienced and highly collaborative product team whereby you will have the opportunity to operate at a senior level in their distribution team, yet still have the opportunity for ongoing career development.
Core responsibilities include:
Produce regular monthly market intelligence packs for key distribution heads, such as peer group comparisons of fund flows, performance, AuM etc
Work with Product team providing bespoke MI and analysis to support or challenge the case for product development and range management proposals being prepared for the Product and Distribution Committee
Support the Head of Product as directed in identifying longer-term industry trends, providing data for Product Development Forum papers
Contribute to key product governance initiatives (e.g. AoV and Product Reviews) with the extraction and initial analysis of assigned data points and being a member of those project groups
Respond to Sales Team requests for key competitor comparisons ahead of client and prospect meetings
Work with Head of Investment Solutions and produce data as requested to support investment strategy meetings
Essential experience required:
3 years’ + experience working in a similar role within Investment Management
Solid understanding and experience of using Morningstar Direct, Broadridge and IA Echoweb
Strong Microsoft knowledge and analytical mindset
