As a Lead Product Developer & Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of product offerings by collaborating across teams to create innovative, on-trend collections. This is a unique chance to not only lead the design and development process but also to influence the success of best-sellers and continuity blocks within the range.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product development and design efforts
  • Working on research and trend to translate insights into newness and innovation.
  • Develop mood boards and concepts to inspire and guide new product lines.

  • Maximise the success of best-sellers and continuity blocks to maintain and build on strong selling lines.

  • Manage the creation of detailed tech packs, ensuring all specifications are accurate and clear for production.

  • Source and bring in the best samples, working closely with suppliers to ensure first-time-right quality and fit.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth development and production processes.

  • Identify gaps in the range and proactively look for new opportunities to expand and improve the product offering.

  • Manage and maintain critical paths to ensure timely delivery of products.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are developed in line with business goals and customer needs.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in product development and design, preferably with a well-established brand.

  • Strong knowledge of working with trend research, mood boards, comp shops and understanding the market's demands for newness.

  • Ability to develop detailed tech packs and work effectively with suppliers to get the best samples the first time.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

  • Proven experience identifying range gaps and spotting product opportunities to expand the offering.

  • Ability to manage and maintain critical paths, ensuring smooth and timely execution.

  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating innovative, high-quality products that resonate with the market.
