We’re looking for someone to lead and be accountable for the success and outcomes of the banking as a service enablers team.

  • You’ll be managing Product Owners and Business Analysts to maximise the impact of features that are developed working in partnership with Engineering Managers

What you'll do

We’re looking for a true leader who wants to take full ownership of their role. You’ll develop a vision for the direction of your Mission team to build all customer services, platform migration services and execution, and POS lending enabling services.

You’ll also be:

  • Managing and coaching a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts to maximise the impact of features that are developed
  • Working with wider teams to successfully execute a platform migration onto the services built within this domain
  • Championing product ways of working in your teams and the wider organisation as part of the end-to-end product lifecycle, with time spent appropriately across discovery, delivery and measuring performance to enable us to be API first in everything we do
  • Helping to foster a culture of experimentation and iteration in Natwest Boxed
  • Ensuring  that work is appropriately scoped, estimated delivery goals are understood and progress against goals is clearly communicated to business stakeholders

The skills you'll need

You’ll already be a capable and experienced Product leader with knowledge of how to drive customer value, meet deadlines on budget, and with the ability to demonstrate strategic talents. Your communication skills need to be excellent and you’ll have a commitment to succeed in everything you do.

You’ll also be expected to have:

  • Strong product leadership, with some in financial services, core banking or microservices platforms
  • Experience of building reusable microservices to scale across a number of consumers and user cases
  • High attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
  • Experience leading successful consumer products from concept to adoption, with experience in all stages of the product life cycle
