Product Manager, Financial News and Trading Platform

The Hired Guns are seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive all product strategy and execution for a global trading and market information platform. This leading portal for global financial market news and trading pulled in ground-breaking traffic last year, with over 34 million visitors between web, mobile, and social. To keep this momentum going in 2022, they re looking for a gifted Product Manager to spearhead important strategic initiatives on key product launches. This is a totally new role that will be molded around the right person; there s a lot of wiggle room for you to influence the overall product vision for the company, provide oversight on big strategic initiatives, and contribute new ideas and white-space thinking. You ll be responsible for day-to-day sprint management. Note, this role is hybrid on-site/remote, so you ll get all the cushy on-site perks while being able to work from home a few days too. Plus, when it s safe there will be frequent travel to London (the Head of Product is in London), and you can indulge in unlimited teas and crumpets on the job. Why You? How you ll know if you re a fit You have at least 3 years of experience in Product Management. You re a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment. It s a must that you have responsive, mobile, and native app experience. You re fluent in Piano and have experience with subscription and loyalty programs. You truly care about the influence that product has on overall business goals, and you re excited to come in and sculpt a best-in-practice product management community.
