Job SummaryThe National Product Specialist for the my clients Laser will be responsible for driving the adoption and sales of this technology across the country. This role involves providing clinical support, training, and education to healthcare professionals, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies that enhance market penetration and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Support and EducationTraining and Education:Develop and conduct comprehensive training programs for healthcare professionals on the use, benefits, and handling of the laser products.Organise and lead workshops, seminars, and hands-on training sessions to ensure proficiency in product use.Clinical Demonstrations:Perform in-field clinical demonstrations of the laser technology to showcase its effectiveness and benefits.Assist healthcare professionals during initial procedures to ensure correct usage and optimise patient outcomes.Ongoing Support:Provide ongoing clinical support to healthcare professionals, addressing any questions or issues that arise during the use of the laser products.Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical inquiries related to laser technology.Sales and Marketing IntegrationSales Strategy Development:Collaborate with the sales team to identify target markets and develop strategies to drive product adoption and achieve sales targets.Participate in sales calls, meetings, and presentations to provide clinical insights and support sales efforts.Marketing Collaboration:Work with the marketing team to create educational materials, promotional content, and campaigns that highlight the benefits and features of laser products.Attend and represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and medical meetings to promote laser technology.Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, urologists, and other stakeholders in the urology field.Gather and relay customer feedback to inform product development and improvement.Technical Expertise and SupportProduct Knowledge:Maintain deep knowledge of laser technology, including its features, benefits, and clinical applications.Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and new developments in treatment technologies.Technical Assistance:Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to healthcare professionals using laser products.Assist in the installation and setup of laser equipment at healthcare facilities.Regulatory and ComplianceRegulatory Adherence:Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Collaborate with regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals and maintain compliance for all laser products.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed records of clinical support activities, training sessions, customer interactions, and sales efforts.Provide regular reports on product performance, market feedback, and sales achievements to senior management.Skills and QualificationsAdvanced degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g., Nursing, Medicine, or Biomedical Sciences) with specialised knowledge in urology or laser technologies.Several years of experience in a clinical support or product specialist role, preferably in the medical device field.Demonstrated ability to drive sales and achieve targets, with experience in a commission-based role preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively train healthcare professionals, present at conferences, and engage in sales activities.Strong technical knowledge of laser technologies and their clinical applications.Ability to analyse clinical data, sales data, and market trends to inform strategic decisions.Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to medical devices.Willingness to travel extensively to provide on-site support, training, and attend industry events.
