After developing and launching an industry-first DC connector enclosure safety product, the ArcBox, Viridian Solar seeks someone special to drive the product forward across the domestic and commercial solar industries.We seek a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team and lead the sales efforts for our ArcBox product within the solar industry. The Sales Manager will develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and build strong relationships with customers and partners.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for ArcBoxIdentify new business opportunities and target markets to expand the company's customer baseCultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the solar industryCollaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offeringsProvide market feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing campaignsStay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-makingGive quarterly updates on sales progress and opportunitiesTasksVisits to builders/ installers/ wholesalersOutbound calling to existing and new client listFinding new opportunities in our sectorBeing active on social media platformsMaking sure CRM systems are kept up to dateWorking with UK wholesalers to open more opportunitiesNational travelCollaborating with members of the sales teamGiving quarterly updates on sales progress and opportunitiesAttributesSelf-starting, showing initiative to close salesExperience closing specification product deals within the solar industry is highly desirableOrganised and accurateAbility to work well on your own and in a teamGood communicator – verbal and written wordConfident to make outgoing telephone callsComputer literatePresentableApproachable, sociable and a reliable team playerSolar knowledge would be an advantageFluent in English speakingBased in the United KingdomPlease send your CV with salary expectations to:Chief Sales Officer, Viridian Solar, Atlas Building, 68 Stirling Way, Papworth, Cambs.
