Job Description
The team are responsible for the packaging aspect of the business as well. The main aim of the team is to meet customer’s KPI and to ensure that correct packaging is used to pack the correct product which needs to be delivered to the correct place at the right time.
Primarily supporting the Supply Chain Manager
Responsible for maintaining the SAP (ERP) system updated with material movement.
Facilitate flow of information with Quality and Finance departments.
Supporting the Supply Chain and Operations to enable that all assets, processes and procedures meet GMP/GDP requirements.
Be able to translate forecasts into production schedules, batch allocations and shipping tables
Look after shipments to and monitor/accommodate changes requested by the customer
Raise change controls where necessary and update / create new SOPs
Where change controls require participation in the packaging part, raise packaging specifications and check Master Batch Packaging records from Central Pharma
Support Team with the process of movement of goods for products and materials through SAP system, including, purchasing, receiving, moving from site to site etc.
Raise quotations and invoices to client as required
Place purchase orders for the applicators and finished product in SAP
Ensure all Supply Chain documentation is generated, maintained and stored in compliance with SOPs and to meet supply requirements
Monitor and update the KPIs of the contractors
Update and keep accurate records for EBITDA
Maintain a good working relationship with all suppliers.
Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
A degree is desirable but not essential depending on candidate and relevant experience.
Ability to multi-task and demonstrate diplomatic skills
Proficient (excellent) in English verbal and written communication skills to convey and receive ideas and instructions to/from others within and outside the organization
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers, management, suppliers and customers
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP)
Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
