Production and Engineering Technician - Electronics

Our client is seeking a dedicated Production and Engineering Technician - Electronics to join their team permanently.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technician support to production and engineering teams
Repair and maintain electronic radar systems as part of production and RMA processes
Assemble prototype radar systems and sub-assemblies
Test and configure radar systems in support of the Test Technician
Maintain documentation and change control in accordance with processes
Design and/or build prototype test jigs and assemblies
Provide drone operator support for trials - training will be given
Support field trials and demonstrations, mostly local, occasionally national, rarely international
Provide occasional off-site support at customer and supplier premises

Job Requirements:

Significant experience working with advanced electrical and electronic devices
Strong technical competence with appropriate engineering knowledge and awareness of standard electrical lab practices and processes
Hands-on practical skills in building, fixing, and modifying electronic and/or electromechanical equipment
Highly analytical with a strong focus on details
Excellent team player, personable and communicative
HNC or higher qualification in electronics or electrical engineering
