Production Assistant

Contek Recruitment are currently working with a well-established precision engineering company, located in Redditch, West Midlands. They are seeking a�Production Assistant�to join their growing team.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Keeping the machine shop in a clean and tidy manner.


• Assisting the machinists with daily requirements.


• Loading auto bar feeds.


• Emptying swarf containers when required.


• Support machine cleaning activities including coolant maintenance.


• Taking/making deliveries.


• Simple assembly work.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a machine shop environment is desirable.


• Able to work independently and as part of a team.


• Machining experience is preferred.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (07:30 AM until 16:30 PM) and Friday (07:30 AM until 12:30 PM)
Hourly Rate: �13 - �14 per hour (Depending on experience)
