Production Control Planner
Overview

About the Role
As a Production Control Planner, you will play a crucial role in supporting Program Management and ensuring the smooth implementation of business activities while maintaining compliance with company policies. Key responsibilities include:
Providing clarity on how activities impact the business and facilitating successful delivery and implementation.
Assisting the planning team manager with research and data extraction from various departments.
Developing and updating schedules using techniques such as Critical Path Analysis and "What If Scenarios."
Collaborating closely with Project Managers to forecast projects and manage metrics effectively.
Serving as an ERP/MRP
specialist/superuser
to extract and manage data, ensuring optimal system performance.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate should ideally possess the following qualifications and attributes:
Preferably a degree in Mechanical Engineering (2.1 or above) or equivalent experience.
Experience in Project Management and exposure to Matrix Management.
Knowledge of industry practices and extensive experience with ERP, MRP, and drawing release systems.
Understanding of project plan development and planning control concepts.
Proficiency in extracting and analyzing data, with expertise in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to follow, create, and disseminate good working practices and processes.
Hands-on approach with a focus on precision, attention to detail, and good record-keeping.
Adherence to business systems and policies, including health and safety requirements.
Previous experience in the
motorsport/automotive
industry would be at a distinct advantage.
