Primary Responsibilities



The Production Controller will be responsible for the following key duties:




  • Strategic Planning: Actively participate in regular planning meetings to align production activities with organizational objectives.

  • Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain efficient schedules to optimize resource allocation and production timelines.

  • Work Order Management: Release manufacturing work orders in compliance with system requirements and material availability, ensuring seamless production processes.

  • Materials Flow Management: Monitor the flow of internally manufactured and purchased components, ensuring accurate status updates and availability information are communicated to relevant departments.



Qualifications and Skills Required



To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess the following:




  • MRP Systems Expertise: A solid understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and their application in production environments.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and complex functions, are essential.

  • Attention to Detail: High levels of accuracy and diligence in managing complex tasks.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with confidence in liaising with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  • Teamwork and Initiative: Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Organisational Excellence: Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
