Production Controller

My client in central Barnsley require an experienced Production Controller.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a highly skilled production team, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of manufacturing processes within a world-class facility.

Key Duties:
Production planning - releasing job cards and managing work orders.
Coordinating materials, priorities, and production schedules to meet deadlines.
Managing engineering changes and ensuring correct implementation in production.
Expediting priority materials and activities to keep projects on track.
Providing progress reports and working closely with project managers.
Supporting small projects or technical sales orders with the project team.
Identifying and implementing continuous improvements in production processes.

Experience Required:
Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing resource planning (MRP) / materials requirements planning (MRP).
Ability to manage priorities and work under time-sensitive conditions.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Competency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
