Production Engineer required by leading manufacturing company based in Windsor The successful Production Engineer will be responsible for translating customer information into work instructions for the shop floor and creating programs for production machinery.
Main Duties Production Engineer
Programming Surface Mount Machines: Develop programs based on customer data.
Creating Work Instructions: Produce detailed and clear written instructions for the shop floor.
Machinery Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery.
Project Planning and Management: Oversee and manage project timelines and deliverables.
Equipment Installation: Assist with the setup and integration of new equipment.
Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team and customers to ensure seamless operations.
New Product Development: Contribute to the development of new products and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Production Engineer
Experience: Proven background in a similar role, particularly with surface mount machines.
Technical Skills: Solid understanding of Bills of Materials (BOM) and ERP systems.
Software Proficiency: Proficient in using CAD packages and Microsoft Office.
Detail-Oriented: Ability to produce high-quality work instructions.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
