Maintenance Management: Manage and oversee maintenance requirements, coordinating effectively with internal departments to support uninterrupted production processes.
Preventive Maintenance: Plan, perform, and document preventive maintenance activities to ensure machinery operates reliably and efficiently.
Troubleshooting & Breakdown Resolution: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, resolving reactive maintenance issues to minimize downtime.
Repairs & Facility Maintenance: Conduct necessary repairs and maintain the facility infrastructure to ensure optimal operating conditions.
Installations & Commissioning: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment to integrate them smoothly into production.
Qualification & Validation Support: Collaborate in qualification, calibration, and validation of equipment and processes as per regulatory standards.
Project Execution: Participate in the planning and execution of new projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory compliance.
Tooling & Machine Setup: Perform complete tooling changeovers and set up machinery following strict quality standards and specifications.
Efficiency Optimization: Focus on reducing changeover times, enhancing on-floor productivity, and improving machine efficiency to maximize output.
Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of equipment breakdowns, daily maintenance activities, and productivity logs.
Inventory Management: Track, monitor, and manage inventory levels of tooling and changeover parts to ensure their availability when required.
Qualifications:
Education: Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or an equivalent technical degree in a related field.
Experience:
Relevant experience in production or maintenance engineering, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and validation is highly preferred.
Certifications (Optional):
Certifications in Maintenance Planning, LEAN Manufacturing, or Six Sigma are advantageous.
Additional training in cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) or ISO standards relevant to pharmaceuticals is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
Familiarity with PLC systems (Programmable Logic Controllers) and automation systems used in manufacturing is a plus.
Experience in Maintenance Engineering: Proven experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment, preferably in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or manufacturing industries.
Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance Programs: Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning, execution, and documentation to ensure equipment reliability.
Technical Proficiency in Machinery: Strong understanding of production machinery operations, setup, tooling changeover, and mechanical adjustments.
