We are looking for a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our client in Stockton-on-Tees
Job role
• Following part set up sheets.
• Daily use of jigs / templates along with basic fabrication knowledge.
• Knowledge and experience with basic plating and assembly tacking procedures.
• Significant experience with MIG welding process.
• Using hand tools such as pin grinders/ angle grinders.
• Completion of daily operation, TPM (total preventative/ production maintenance) and
pre-operation check sheets.
• Documentation completion.
• Manual handling tasks.
• Completing tasks by use of engineering drawings.
• Inspect quality of parts to maintain high standards.
• Inspect all equipment to ensure it’s in a safe working condition.
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
• Other adhoc duties as requested by your line manager. However, you will be given
duties in respect of your abilities, skill-set and organisational structure. The Company
will not ask you to complete tasks that are outside the scope of your capablities.
Qualifications and experience
• Previous experience experience fabricating or welding is essential.
• Previous experience working within the manufacturing sector would be beneficial but
not essential.
• Previous experience operating handheld tools would be beneficial but not essential.
• Previous experience using engineering drawings would be beneficial but not essential.
• Employees are also given full training once they commence employment and further
training and development opportunities are also available throughout employment.
Hours of Work
37 hours per week (3 weekly shift rotation: day shift, back shift and night shift)
