Production Fabricator

Location: Stourport-on-Severn
Hours: 07:00 - 16:00 Friday 07:00 - Early Finish
Pay: �13.11 p/hr
Contract: Temp - Perm
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Production Fabricator based in Stourport. This role is Temporary to Permanent and offers the potential to progress within the company. As a key member of the Welding Team, you will support your colleagues and be responsible for the manufacture of fabrications to drawings or customer requirements.
The Duties of a Production Fabricator:

• Responsible for all Fabrication and Welding Masks
• Completion of a wide range of fabrications to meet powder coating schedules
• Advise Section Leader of defective tooling that prevent production targets being achieved.
• Ensuring tooling, jigs and fixtures are fit for purpose and meet production requirements
• Responsibilities as listed in Quality Control Manual and procedures to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 requirements.
• Any other reasonable duties in the welding area.
• Assistance in working for other departments when necessary.

The Requirements of a Production Fabricator:

• Qualified MIG Welder
• Ability to read technical drawings although training will be provided for the right candidate
• IT literate
• Good attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Adhere to Health & Safety Policy.
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Good time management
• Strong work ethic
