Major Recruitment are seeking an experienced Production & Logistics planner to join our client's manufacturing site near Leicester

The Production and Logistics Coordinator will be a key team player within the Operations Team, responsible for manufacturing and logistics planning on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities as Production and Logistics Coordinator:

• Responsible for ensuring daily production and logistics plans are completed.
• Interface between Business Assistants, Customer Service and Production.
• Ensure correct and timely requests for raw materials are maintained and supply issues escalated to the Management team.
• Order raw materials and coordinate the delivery schedule.
• Coordinate transport stream for finished products and samples through 3PL management, this will include the raising of order documents and PO and import and export documentation.
• Responsible for raising any stock issues when they arise.
• Work in accordance with company's values, HR and HS&E policies: instructions, minimum requirements and guidelines

Skills required Production and Logistics Coordinator

• Previous experience within a similar role, a minimum of 2 year's experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience within a FMCG environment
• Good working knowledge of SAP and Excel
