Production Manager

The Recruitment Co are looking for a Production Manager to join a growing fabrication company in Barnsley, within this role you will be overseeing the day to day activities of the workshop, whilst also managing a team of fabricators. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to progress their career with a company that has demonstrated continued growth.
What you can expect in this role:

• Supervise and lead a team of production workers, welders, fabricators, and other staff.
• Ensuring Production levels are maintained.
• Ensuring a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
• Conduct inspections and tests on finished products to identify defects
• Ensure adequate inventory levels of raw materials and components.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet project deadline
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance production efficiency.

What we need from you:

• Proven experience as a Production Manager.
• Fabrication Background (Essential)
• Ability to read drawings.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to unite a team to achieve a shared goal
• Able to identify cost saving opportunities and implement them into the workshop.
• Knowledge of welding safety practices.

What we can offer you:

• A Salary of �45,000 - �55,000 (depending on experience)
• A permanent role, with 37.5 hours a week
• 28 days holiday
