Production Manager

This leading provider of advanced mechanical engineering solutions delivers innovative and high-performance technologies to the aerospace, defence, and space sectors. Due to continued growth, the Operations Director is looking to attract into his team a Production Manager who will lead and develop a team of fifty.

Key responsibilities within this key role will be to: -

• Develop, implement and distribute efficient work schedules that will meet customer demand and maximise resources.
• Optimise resource utilisation.
• Ensure on time delivery into inventory.
• Maximise production efficiencies across the site.
• Provide input into resource planning by assessing manpower, equipment and material needs.
• Identify, develop and execute improvement initiatives.
• Be involved in the monthly Senior Leadership meetings and quarterly reviews.

The successful candidate will: -

• Have production management experience gained in a CNC/precision engineering environment.
• Be an engaging leader who thrives developing teams.
• Have experience of continuous improvement activity.
• Have a collaborative approach.
• Have excellent communication skills.
