Production Manager

This position as a Production Manager in the Industrial / Manufacturing sector requires a dedicated leader to oversee the Engineering & Manufacturing department, ensuring high-quality production and efficient operations.

Description

As Production Manager you will be tasked with the following;

• Communicating with our existing client base in order to update them on timescales and managing their expectations
• Oversee and manage production processes and operations within the Engineering & Manufacturing department
• Ensure product quality and adherence to industry standards
• Implement production schedules and manage deadlines
• Collaborate with other departments to optimise operations
• Lead, develop and motivate production team
• Implement and monitor safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the company
• Report on production performance and metrics

Profile

The successful Production Manager will have the following qualities;

• Highly driven and possess strong leadership, organisational and planning skills.
• Strong engineering background
• Sound understanding of lean manufacturing.
• Previous management experience of medium sized teams - chargehand, foreman, shift leaders etc. will be considered.
• Man management experience - ability to get the best out of your team and mentor / coach others and develop their capabilities
• Understanding of KPI's
