Production Manager

A truly excellent opportunity has arisen within this leading process driven manufacturer for a Production Manager to join its expanding facility in Birmingham.

THE ROLE

Reporting into the General Manager, the role of the Production Manager is to look after the complete shop floor production process across.

Responsibilities include:

• Management of up to shopfloor staff


• Directly responsible for productivity


• Responsible for Continuous Improvement Activities


• Health and Safety


• Discipline issues


• Setting KPIS


• Scheduling Staff

THE PERSON

In order to succeed in the role of Production Manager you will need a strong leadership ethic as well as experience of managing within a fast moving manufacturing or production environment, including food, automotive, manufacturing, assembly, FMCG etc. You will need to be looking for a new challenge with the opportunity to develop the role in the future.
