Production Manager

Production Manager required to join a well-established Manufacturer that specialise in metals industries. The successful candidate will be expected to look after all aspects of production from goods in to goods out, and will come from a metals background.

Production Manager Position Overview

• To communicate with all internal functions to ensure on time, in full delivery of the production schedule.
• To effectively and efficiently utilise all available labour and materials across the production function.
• To ensure product quality through effective quality management systems, procedures and standard operating processes.
• Control costs and expenditure of the department within agreed budgets and the changing needs of the business, statutory requirements and customer policy.
• Ensure best practice in workplace organisation and carry out 5S audits across the departments.
• Promote best working practice in all production areas to achieve effectiveness, control and efficiency.
• Proactively manage health & safety and promote safe working practices to ensure the safety and well-being of all staff and compliance with all statutory requirements.

Production Manager Position Requirements

• Previous experience within a similar position
• Experience within Metals industries
• Roll forming experience is highly advantageous
• Must live within a commutable distance of Manchester

Production Manager Position Remuneration

• Full time - Permanent position
• Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 16:30 (early finish on a Friday)
• Salary - �45,000 - 55,000 (DOE)
• Annual leave - 33 days including bank holidays
• Pension scheme up to 6%
