Our Client is a successful Menswear Brand founded to deliver on a promise of better fit.
They are currently in a period of high growth driven by a rapid expansion in the range.
To strategically manage the production they are recruiting a
Production Manager
to to co ordinate and deliver their quarterly collections. They are looking for an all rounder who understands the end to end process and has a track record of driving a Critical Path day to day
In this role you will:
• Set up the seasonal costing and delivery schedule
• Manage the Critical Path - chase suppliers for weekly reports, conduct bi weekly meetings with suppliers, and update the critical path accordingly
• Flag any issues in real time with proposed resolutions
• Distribute approved PO’s to Suppliers
• Approve invoices as they come in - matching to PO’s and flagging any reconciliation issues
• Place fabric and greige orders where required
• Manage trim stocks to ensure availability and control liability
• Collate and review costings with Head of Production to ensure target margin is achieved
• Liase with freight forwarder - arrange shipment bookings and monitor deliveries
• Report on weekly intake and communicate any delays across the business
• Manage running liability and yearly stock takes
You will report to the Head of Production – but, of course, will need to work autonomously and independently. You’ll work closely with the rest of the Product team and Buying & Merchandising
The Right Candidate will be able to demonstrate
• Relevant experience in a similar production or project management role
• Proven track record working with complex supply chains - ideally in Europe, Turkey and the Far East
• Crystal clear communication and people skills

High proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets,
with a willingness to learn new systems as required
• A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills
• Experience in Menswear is useful, but not essential
• Commercial instincts - a great, natural sense for what matters, what moves the needle, and what is actually viable
• Great project management skills - the ability to plan work, track progress and keep the wheels turning. This may include formal project management qualifications.
• A bias to action - a proven track record of getting things done, at high tempo
• A relentless drive to improve and optimise
• An authentic interest in fashion / style / menswear
