Our client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke products. Being a low-volume manufacturer, they ensure quality in every item they manufacture. Due to unforeseen circumstances, they are currently looking to recruit a new production manager- the ideal candidate has knowledge of fabrication as well as low-volume, bespoke manufacturing.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Manage production- ensuring materials and equipment are available
  • Monitor and drive KPIs
  • Streamline production and reduce inefficiencies on the shopfloor
  • Oversee a team of around 20
  • Man Manage the team- addressing issues and compiling solutions
  • Liaising with engineering and design
  • Deliver continuous improvements
  • Assist the quality and health and safety department to ensure compliance at all times

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Have leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Have knowledge and experience of low-volume, bespoke manufacturing
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in change and people management
  • An engineering backgroun, preferably within fabrication
