Production Manager

A Luxury bed manufacturer based in Dewsbury, part of a large group turning over 30 million pound each year and supplying into leading retailers UK wide.

The role

A Production Manager is now required to lead manufacturing operations in Dewsbury. You will oversee production efficiency, quality control, and team performance to ensure high standards are consistently met.

�

You will take responsibility for:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the production facility to meet demand and quality standards.


• Leading, motivating, and developing the production team to enhance efficiency and productivity.


• Implementing and maintaining health and safety regulations in line with industry standards.


• Monitoring and improving manufacturing processes to reduce waste and increase output.


• Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfilment.

What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in the furniture�manufacturing sector.


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.


• A track record of implementing process improvements and driving efficiency.


• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality control procedures.


• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• Experience with lean manufacturing and process optimisation.


• A strong background within the bed manufacturing industry would be highly advantageous
