Production Operative - Foundry

Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in�Rochester, are looking to recruit�Production Operatives�to work in their�Foundry�to assist in the aluminium investment casting process.�

As a�Foundry Production Operative�your main duties will include:

• Aluminium melt preparation prior to casting


• Cleaning and preparing moulds for casting


• Pouring molten metal into the moulds (casting)


• Moving moulds following casting


• Removing the ceramic shell from the finished cast


• Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders

The ideal�Foundry Production Operative�will have:

• High degree of physical fitness.� This is a strenuous role with a high degree of manual handling.�


• Experience in a Manufacturing/Factory/Production/Construction environment.


• A good work ethic, a good level of physical coordination and excellent time keeping skills.


• All PPE provided.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Thursday 6am - 4.30pm - 40 hours per week

There is the opportunity for optional overtime in other departments on Friday.
