At Jobandtalent, we are recruiting for Production Operatives with Forklift Truck Licence to work with an important company in Trafford Park, Manchester. The client specializes in producing cereal distributed across the UK and Europe.

IMPORTANT: It is mandatory to have a valid UK Accredited license Counterbalance Licence

Shift Patterns:

• 2 days/2 nights on, 6 days off
• Shift hours: 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am

Pay Rates:

• £16.00 per hour

As a Production Operative with Forklift Truck Licence, you will need to have:

• A valid UK Accredited Counterbalance Licence (in date)
• Ability to work both day and night shifts
• Capability to pass the company's driver assessment after a month of work/training

Role of a Production Operative with Forklift Truck Licence:

• Working in a team of 2 with rotating tasks over 4 shifts. One will drive the other will be on Taybag duties
• Transporting filled Taybag units into the warehouse for shipment (loading/unloading with a Forklift Truck)
• Performing Taybag duties involving manual handling
• Maintaining cleanliness with a "clean as you go" policy
• Ensuring adherence to strict Quality & Food Safety standards, including completing documentation
• Following site Food Safety protocols and wearing PPE as required
• The role is split 50/50 between driving and taybag duties with your team partner.

The recruitment process will consist of an interview, a basic medical assessment and an Forklift Truck assessment
