Production Operative

Our client is looking to recruit several production operatives to join a friendly team within a well-established company. We are seeking motivated & driven candidates who want to learn new skills and gain new experiences to progress within their career.

Job Responsibilities:

As a production operative your duties will include:

* Work safely by following the SOP guidelines

* Complete a visual safety inspection of the equipment prior to operation

* Pack and label finished goods in preparation for shipment

* Operate the machinery and monitor it continuously to optimise running conditions

* Noting faults and reporting to maintenance as required

* Recording the weights on the production documentation and bulk bag

* Complete all other paperwork associated with the process

* Maintaining output, quality, and waste targets

* To ensure all raw materials, scrap and finished goods are accurately documented and recorded

* Continuous quality checks

* Follow a 'clean as you go' policy

6am – 6pm

Monday – Thursday

Optional Friday overtime

£10.42 per hour

£25000 per annum
