Production Operative

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Production Operative who enjoys variety and assisting in multiple areas within production.�
The primary focus of this role will be to load and unload the tooling in machines�and also assisting with the issuing of materials needed to the shop floor, all items needed for production must be prepared and made available to maintain a timely tool change process, you will be working closely with the Shift Leaders and Setters.�
The position is working Monday to Friday, with an early finish on a Friday and paying �13ph, own transport is essential due to the factory being based in Verwood.�

Responsibilities for the successful Production Operative:

• Prioritize and organize your work day according to production schedules�
• Load and remove tooling in machines in a timely manner
• Put tooling away in correct areas, reporting any damage or issues��
• Ensure tools are organized correctly and prepared for next day�
• Preparation, cleaning and storing of tools�
• Patrol inspections of machinery, raise concerns if necessary�
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment�
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth production flow

To be considered for this Production Operative role:

• Previous machine operating/ setting or tooling experience is essential�
• Must have tooling knowledge/ experience, with mould machines would be advantageous�
• Ability to work with minimal supervision�
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures�
• Able to prioritize work load as per production plans
• Comfortable working within manual handling on roles
• Flexible to assist across departments as and when needed.�
