Riverside Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Production Operative based in Aspatria.
This is a permanent role, employed on an 18 month contract direct with the company.
Our client is a supplier owned business and they produce some of the best food products in Cumbria. They operate as 'one team' working tirelessley to ensure their products are of the highest quality. They put their staff and customers first so you can be assured you will be well looked after!
The Role
As a production Operative, you will operate and maintain industrial equipment as part of the�manufacturing process. Full training will be given, however experience working on machines would be an advantage.
Supporting their improvement culture, you will maintain high standards of health and safety and quality within your work environment. You will manage and organise forklift truck activities across the site, including pre-start checks, managing stock and ensuring hygiene best practices. FLT experience is preffered but refresher training can be provided.
Additionally, you will:
- Undertake testing and sampling
- Clean and organise production areas to the highest standard and schedules
- Perform admin duties, including completing documentation
About You
To be considered as a production Operative, you will need a strong work eithic, good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.�
Full training will be provided for the right person.
Hours and Benefits:
4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights) working 6-6
�27-32k basic plus Overtime - Great earning potential!
