Production Operative

Pertemps Reading are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a leading roofing manufacturer based in Beenham!
Rota: Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime available on Saturday mornings.
The assignment will involve rotating shifts:
AM 1st week, 06:00 - 15:00 Pay Rate: �12.00 per hour
PM 2nd week, 15:00 - 23:00 Pay Rate: �12.50 per hour
Please note, slightly different start/finish time for the shifts could be offered, pending on the Start Date, covering hours between 06:00 to 23:00.
ALL CANDIDATES applying for this Production Operative role must pass a Drug & Alcohol Test prior to start the assignment!
The successful Production Operative will be responsible for:
" Operating manufacturing equipment (manual handling tools, machinery and mechanical equipment), as per training provided
" Packing, loading/unloading products in the required area
" Maintaining a clear and tidy working place.
" Working both independently and as part of a team
The ideal candidates for this Production Operative role, will possess the following:
" Forklift Counterbalance Certificate (desirable)
" Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
" Team player with good attention to detail
" Good level of English, oral and written
" Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
" Proficiency in using tools
