PS LTD are seeking reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join our growing manufacturing client.
This is a hands-on role that involves operating machinery, moving heavy materials, and working efficiently in a fast-paced, dusty, outdoor and noisy environment. If you have experience in a similar manufacturing role and hold a valid FLT (Counterbalance) license, we want to hear from you.
MUST BE HAPPY WITH HEAVY LIFTING
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm (Rotating each week)
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour basic / Overtime - £18.75 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Manually loading and unloading materials on to the machine.
* Handle and transport heavy materials and products across the production area.
* Ensure materials are loaded and unloaded efficiently using FLT Counterbalance.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to maintain high manufacturing standards.
* Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
* Maintain productivity in a dusty, outdoor and noisy working environment.
* Keep the work area clean and organized.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
* Valid FLT Counterbalance license is essential.
* Ability to lift and move heavy materials throughout the shift.
* Comfortable working in a dusty, outdoor and noisy environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
* Willingness to work in a physically demanding role
