Production Operative

Our client a Kent based Timber Frame Manufacturer are currently looking for�Permanent Production Operatives to bolster their team in Sandwich, Kent.

You will be fabricating timber frames and roof trusses for end clients such as:�House Builders, Social Housing Contractors,�Building Contractors, and Private Developers.

The ideal candidate will have Construction, manual�or production experience, stem from a Labour�intensive�background and be able to adapt and turn their hand to a multitude of construction related tasks.

WORKING HOURS

There are 2 shifts that the company operate

Days: 730am-4pm or Lates: 130pm-10pm

Saturday work and overtime when available is paid at a higher rate.

THE ROLE

• Preparation and cutting of timber


• construction of frames or roof trusses


• operating woodworking machinery


• keeping work area clean and tidy


• comply with health and safety regulations

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Good communication skills


• Physically fit as you will be on your feet all day working from a bench


• Comfortable with heavy lifting


• Ability to use hand and power tools


• Ability to use Tape measure

OWN TRANSPORT WOULD BE BENEFICIAL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL�
