Production Operative

My client based in Masham is looking for an experienced Production Operative to join their team on a permanent basis

The ideal candidate would have a strong background of working within production, preferably from within the food and beverage industry and be able to demonstrate a good level of understanding regarding the manufacturing process

Duties of the role include:

• Operating various pieces of specialised machinery
• Be technically minded and be able to respond to minor machine breakdowns
• Be computer literate to log inventory and data records
• To prepare and maintain machinery during a busy production schedule
• Quality checking all finished products before they are packaged for dispatch
• To clean down all machinery at the end of production, including safe use of chemicals
• Following SOP's along with strict health and safety guidelines
• To be physically fit and able to move up to 25kg on a regular basis

Due to the nature of the role and the need of flexibility within the team, it would be desirable if the successful candidate had a Forklift Counterbalance licence

Salary: �23,795k

Hours: Mon-Fri, day shift only

Role: Permanent from day one, immediate start for the right candidate
