Production Operative

Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for a Production Operative to join our clients Seaham site.

Our clients are specialists in contract packing and blending of ambient liquid sauces and marinades along with a variety of packing options for dry powders and crumbs.

What's on offer?

• Full-time permanent position
\n
• Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
\n
• Shift work and overtime may be required on the odd occasion
\n
• Pay rate of £12.50 per hour
\n

Working as a Production Operative, your duties would include:

\n
• \nSet up and clean equipment - Follow planned setup and changeovers to reduce downtime and keep things running smoothly
\n
• \nReport issues - Let the engineering team know about any faulty or damaged equipment using the maintenance request form
\n
• \nOperate machinery - Run machines safely and complete all process paperwork to meet customer and company standards
\n
• \nPack products - Work on the production line, following health and food safety guidelines
\n
• \nFollow food safety rules - Stick to the company's food safety plan (HACCP), including critical control points (CCPs)
\n
