Production Operative

Location: Scunthorpe

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 4:00pm; Friday, 7:30am – 1:30pm

The company:

We are working with a leading manufacturing company in Scunthorpe, specialising in high-quality concrete products. As their business continues to grow, we are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join the team as Production Operatives.

Role Overview:

As a Production Operative, you will be a crucial part of the manufacturing process, focusing on pouring concrete into moulds to create high-quality products. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining our high standards of production.

You will be wearing full PPE in this section of the department, which includes white suits and face masks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Using hand and power tools such as grinders to sand down products.


• Trimming the product down with industrial tools


• Quality checking


• Happy to wear a suit and mask as the dust can spray in the air

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (experience with concrete is a plus).


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.


• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and techniques.


• Good physical stamina, as the role involves manual handling and standing for extended periods.


• A proactive attitude with a focus on safety and efficiency.
