Production Operatives - Avonmouth - FLT Training Provided

Blue Arrow Bristol are looking for Production Operatives for temp to perm roles based in Avonmouth in Bristol (BS11). You will be offered a permanent contract after being employed by Blue Arrow for 12 weeks. Having a 5 tonne forklift licence is advantageous but not essential as the client is happy to pay for your training.

Working Hours and Pay:

\n

\n
• Monday to Friday 07:00-16:00 (1 hour's unpaid lunch) and every other Saturday 07:00-12:00 (Saturdays are paid at time and a half)
\n
• We also have 06:00-18:00 and 12:00-00:00 shifts available, however, these shifts are only temporary to assist with the workload
\n
• Opportunities for overtime
\n

Pay Rates

\n

\n
• Basic salary is £11.50
\n
• Overtime after 8 hours daily and on Saturdays is paid at 17.25 per hour
\n
• Hours worked after 6pm (if you work on 12:00-00:00 shift) are paid at £15.30 per hour
\n

\n

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for:

\n

\n
• Assisting with the packaging and loading of materials
\n
• Operating machinery (training provided)
\n
• Helping with housekeeping and recycling duties
\n
• Other warehousing tasks as and when required
\n

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience working within warehouse/production environment
\n
• Willingness to learn and work as a part of a team
\n
• Positive attitude
\n
• Reliability
\n
• Flexibility to complete overtime
\n
• Willingness to go through training and gain new skills
\n
