Production Operator

Mash Direct is recruiting new Production Operators across production processes to join their award winning team at its factory farm situated 1 mile from Comber, 2 miles from Dundonald, 3 miles from Newtownards and 8 miles from Belfast. What your job is all about: Working for a FMCG Company, you will prepare and package Mash Direct food products to a busy schedule. JOB DUTIES: Operate machinery Prepare and peel vegetables for production Manual handling of prepared goods Weighing and quality checking product lines Meeting time and wastage targets Assisting with product trials and traceability Basic clean down of machinery Follow Health and Safety guidelines and standard operating procedures WORK HOURS The working hours are based on a 5 day working week, 45 hours per week, Monday - Saturday. We are recruiting across three work teams OPTIONS: Shift Pattern 1 : 5am - 3pm (Day shift, Low Care) Shift Pattern 2 : 6am - 4pm (Day shift, High Care) Shift Pattern 3: 5pm - 3am (Night Shift) Additional Info: Culturally diverse workforce Weekly Pay - Company Sick Pay Scheme - Team based work environment Free Parking on site - Staff Discounts Applicants must be 18 years and over, eligible to work in the UK, have a basic level of English (written & spoken), a level of physical fitness to work in the factory.
