Production Planner

Job Role: Production Planner
Location: Bredbury
Shift: Days Only
Salary: �30,000 - �33,000 Per Annum

Metalis is working in partnership with a prestigious steel supplier in Bredbury who are looking to hire a skilled Production Planner on a permanent contract.

Job Duties:

• Creating and managing job card routes and allocations
• Ensure the most economic and efficient methods of manufacture,
• Liaising with the programming department
• Ensure all documentation is issued
• Ensure all materials and Kits are available for manufacture & Assembly
• Control all rework operation as a result of NCR's modifying route sheets if required
• Participate in Pre-production Meetings to determine optimal manufacturing methods
• Assist the Production Scheduler to ensure each work centre is effectively loaded
• Provide advice and assistance to the Sales Department
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping and follow the 5S program

Job Requirements:

• Experience of scheduling CNC Machining operations (Desirable)
• Ability to work to deadlines/schedules
• Fully IT proficient

Salary & Shift:

• 39 hour working week,
• Monday to Thursday - 8am to 4.30pm & Fridays 8am to 3.30pm
• �30,000 - �33,000 Per Annum depending on experience
