Job Title: Production Planner

Location: Bristol

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join a dynamic team. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager and offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage production schedules and coordinate with the Sales department to meet customer requirements.
  • Oversee stock allocation to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Create and manage product labels, including those for hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
  • Ensure accurate completion of "work order" paperwork for traceability and receipt booking.
  • Maintain stock management of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Manage free issue stocks and ensure customer delivery targets are met.
  • Report monthly KPIs on production performance.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties as required to support production operations.

  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure and communicate professionally.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with proven administrative capabilities.
  • Confident in presenting to and challenging business leadership.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple schedules.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Team player who actively contributes and supports colleagues.

Compliance and Quality Responsibilities:


  • Ensure compliance with legal, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) obligations.
  • Support and communicate quality and GMP policies and objectives.
  • Participate in internal, external, and third-party audits.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:


  • Adhere to and promote company health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support audits and compliance with all relevant standards.

Support and Resources:


  • Receive ongoing training to meet operational standards and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in regular reviews to ensure alignment with company goals and personal development.

Qualifications:


  • GCSE English (Grade C or above)
  • GCSE Math (Grade C or above)
  • Experience in a similar role
