Production Planner/ Production Planning Manager, Wellingborough based client, Hybrid working 2 days office based, 3 days working from home.

�32,000- �40,000 Basic Salary ( neg) DOE Monday to Friday working. A great range of employee benefits

Working Monday to Friday ( no weekends) 8:30-17:00, 31 days holiday, health cash plan, gym membership, pension scheme and possible Hybrid working after qualifying period.

We are looking for an experienced Production Planner to join our client who are a leading player within the dry food industry. This can be a Hybrid role once a settling in period has been achieved.

It's busy busy busy here and you need to be able to work in an ever changing environment.

To be considered for this role you will have previously worked in a planning position within a manufacturing /FMCG or supply chain environment. . You will have an excellent understanding of logistics stock controls, plus be able to demonstrate a track record of managing business demands. These requirements will be made up from the following skills and attributes

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager with responsibility for production planning of finished and semi-finished goods and a dealing with stock replenishment.

The production planner will be responsible for the following

*Closely working with Demand Planner/ Supply Chain Manager to ensure accurate forecasts are received and challenged where appropriate.
*To ensure that daily and weekly plans are determined and issued in a timely manner to the relevant areas.
*Securing of material substitutions where necessary
*Request for concessions where required.
*Request for life extensions where required.
*Request for raw materials where required.
*Run monthly capacity and labour analysis to highlight potential medium to long term constraints .
*Responsible for generating daily / weekly labour plans that optimise efficiency, minimise cost (yield loss) and satisfy customer demand.
*On-going monitoring of finished goods and raw material stocks
*Ensure data information is correct for both imported and manufactured goods.
*Regular communication with Customer Services highlighting any potential service issues in the short and medium term,
*Be responsible for all stock management and replenishment of the warehouse.
*Regular reporting of KPI's
*Compliance with health and safety, data protection, food safety and quality.
*Have a strong customer service ethos and have the desire to exceed customer expectations.
*Operate as an effective member of the supply chain team to help one another push the boundaries of business performance.
