Job Title: Production Planner

Location: Wednesbury

Pay Rates: £30,000-£35,000

Are you an experienced Production Planner within manufacturing and engineering? Our prestigious client in the Wolverhampton area is looking to expand their planning team. This role will be planning for the CNC Production department therefore, someone who has a CNC background will be perfect for this role!

Responsibilities:

Ensuring customer delivery expectations to be consistently achieved.

Liaise with shop floor team leaders when highly complex parts are required.

To maximise profitability when creating job cards.

Reviewing sales estimate by improving planned routing and raw material selection where possible.

Minimising waste of materials, transportation and labour.

Liaising with all other departments.

Resolve quality and logistical issues.

Qualification/experience:

NVQ or equivalent in mechanical engineering (not essential but advantageous).

Knowledge of international material standards (ASTM / ISO / BS)

Knowledge of international dimensional standards (ISO / DIN / BS)
