Production Planning Manager

A market leading mechanical manufacturing organisation based in Portsmouth are currently recruiting for a Production Planning Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Roles and responsabilities include:

• Prepare, manage, and deliver the production schedule in line with customer demand and manufacturing capacity.

• Identifying the production plan is realistic and optimise the resources of the business.

• Work closely with buyers to ensure the materials are on site to meet the production plan using the existing ERP system.

• Management of MRP system.�

To be considered for the position of Planning Manager you wil have a prven background in Production Planning and ideally have an understanding of certain manufacturing processes including - Machining, fabrication or metal treatment. You will also be a competent user of MRP / ERP systems.
