A market leading mechanical manufacturing organisation based in Portsmouth are currently recruiting for a Production Planning Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Roles and responsibilities include:
Prepare, manage, and deliver the production schedule in line with customer demand and manufacturing capacity.
Identifying the production plan is realistic and optimise the resources of the business.
Work closely with buyers to ensure the materials are on site to meet the production plan using the existing ERP system.
Management of MRP system.
To be considered for the position of Planning Manager you wil have a prven background in Production Planning and ideally have an understanding of certain manufacturing processes including - Machining, fabrication or metal treatment. You will also be a competent user of MRP / ERP systems
