Production Supervisor

Hello,

My client is a long established successful specialist manufacturing engineering SME serving customers in high reliability sectors. They are currently in need of a Production Supervisor to join their team in Croydon.

ROLE: You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the GFD (Gas Filled Detectors) department and leading a team of technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, meeting production targets and optimising processes to maximise efficiency.

SKILLS:

• Strong leadership skills


• Ability to communicate effectively and network with stakeholders at all levels


• Well-grounded experience gained in a technical manufacturing environment, with a track record of achieving production targets and quality objectives.


• Understanding of manufacturing best practice and the ability to apply this to improve processes.


• Good manual dexterity and light engineering assembly skills


• Be able to read engineering drawings


• Excellent organisational skills

LOCATION: Croydon

SALARY: up to �40,000 a year �
