Production Supervisor

Happy Jobs NI are thrilled to be representing our client Mulrines, a leading company in the fruit juice and beverage industry, in their search for a Production Supervisor to join their dynamic team in Ballybofey.

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing all operations during your shift, ensuring that production efficiency, food safety, and quality standards are maintained while managing and supporting a dedicated team. Your leadership and attention to detail will contribute to Mulrines' continued success in delivering top-quality products.

This is a night shift role, and you will be required to work from 12am to 8am, Monday to Friday, overseeing all night-time production activities.

The Role:

• Efficiently manage pre-production materials, including the supply of ingredients and packaging in mixing and packing areas.
• Prioritise and manage mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
• Plan and manage resources, including attendance, absence, and annual leave, ensuring all documentation is properly completed.
• Train, develop, and appraise employees, maintaining high standards of performance.
• Ensure quality assurance throughout the mixing and production lines.
• Complete Good Manufacturing Practice audits.
• Maintain and enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with company regulations.
• Address non-conformance issues, ensuring rework or recycling opportunities where possible.
• Handle general administration tasks, such as accident investigations, cleaning documentation checks, and glass register management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role is essential.
• Strong communication and team-leading skills.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
• A flexible approach to working hours is required.
