Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Salary: £34,000 - £40,000

Location – Morecombe

Production Supervisor Shifts: Monday – Friday 7am – 5pm

Production Supervisor Package:

Orion are partnered with a heavy industrial manufacturing business located in Morecombe, who are recruiting for A Confident and experienced Production Supervisor to join the team.

Production Supervisor Required Experience:

• Knowledge and understanding of welding and fabrication processes
• Background in manufacturing ideally heavy industry
• Ability and confidence to galvanise a team to maximise productivity within a shop floor.

• Must be eligible to work in the UK
• Ability to use a variety of tools & equipment.
• Ability to read and fully understand mechanical drawings.
• Experience working in welding and fabrication would be advantageous but not essential
• Ideally will have experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work confidently with cross departmental teams

Production Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of up to 20 welders in the fabrication shop
• Maximise productivity by increasing efficiencies within the team
• Motivate the team and push towards reaching KPI’s and bonus incentives
• Work across multi departmental teams to ensure smooth running of production
• Mentor the team
