Starting Salary: £30k-£33k/annum (depending on skills & experience)

Day Shift Monday to Friday 07:30 - 15:30

Thorn Baker Industrial are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor for one of our prestigious clients in Nottingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with relevant experience within a small to medium-size organization.

Our client is looking for a talented & hands-on individual to join their friendly team.

Production Supervisor Job Details:

- Working within a small close-knit team

- Supervising staff, setting standards & leading by example (team of 6)

- Managing staff holidays to ensure all areas of production are covered

- Ensuring correct time keeping of staff

- Ordering agency labour as of when required

- Production planning, assembly & job allocation

- Forwarding order planning for manufacturers

- Reporting faults and issues to suppliers and service providers

- Processing orders in Microsoft Excel

- Managing stock levels & orders

- Communication with suppliers on lead times and order delivery

- Overseeing goods in / despatch

- Booking & allocating deliveries to carriers

- Process mail and operating franking machine

- Overseeing waste management

- Regular safety & service equipment checks

- Reporting of accidents

- Completion of all relevant paperwork

- Other general production supervisory duties

Production Supervisor Requirements:

- Relevant experience within a small to medium-size manufacturing/production environment

- Reach & Counterbalance forklift licences

- Good communication skills via all channels

- Computer literacy (Microsoft package, Word/Excel/Outlook etc.)

- Knowledge of Sage200 software would be advantageous

- Hands -on approach, ability to lead by example

- Proven technical capability

- Positive approach towards work, think outside the box

- Team Player / Adaptable / Good work ethic

- Enthusiasm / Ambition / Eagerness for excellence

Production Supervisor Benefits:
